Just joined Contra today! I am a Freelance Software Engineer based in Fort Wayne, Indiana with 22+ years of experience specializing in MS Access, SQL Server, VBA, and business process automation.

I help small to mid-size businesses modernize legacy database systems, automate manual workflows, and build custom solutions that actually fit how they work.

My background includes converting million-line legacy codebases, building mission-critical accounting systems, and delivering solutions for manufacturers, healthcare, and e-commerce clients.

One of my current personal projects is a Kanban-style project management board built entirely in MS Access - proof that Access is far more powerful than most people give it credit for.

If your business is struggling with outdated database systems, manual processes, or data challenges - I would love to connect and see how I can help.

Congrats, Abel. Top 1% with 161 pts is no small thing, that ranking is earned one delivered project at a time. The quiet gratitude in this post says a lot too. Back to building is the right energy, what are you working on next?
