I think I’m one of the first on this platform who actually got a decrease over time in my discovery score 🤯
But this is actually what I like about Contra. You have to put in the time and effort to keep your score.
This was a part of the initial design ideas as well when I designed the community with @Ry Magno, @Allison Nulty and @Ben Huffman . Active users should be rewarded.
I went from 201 to 191 but haven’t been as active as I want,
The system works! I’ll do better and looking forward to engaging with all you cool peoples content!

Personally, I love it! Active users SHOULD be rewarded. Same with the content you post. If it benefits others, it'll benefit you!

@Dylan Campbell I'm not really team demerits based on activity, b/c activity is rewarding, so there's a lost opportunity cost for inactivity and relative disparity to more active members.

I responded to @Allison Nulty on a post thread I made when I noticed downward movement...
Logically, I don't follow utility of demerit based on activity because lower activity will result in lower scores *relative* to more active users.

@Morten Korshavn by now I've gone through and optimized all of the quick things based on the guided pointers. Pretty clean besides keeping it up over time and adding more expert badges 🐣

@Dave Miye @Morten Korshavn The only hack I’ve noticed so far is optimizing your profile—update your work, services, and use the right tags. I went from 107 to 125 in 4 days. Although there may be other ways to get more, this has worked for me so far.
