AI isn't the designer. It's the tool.
You're the designer. The art director.
It can't design without your direction.
AI supports the process. The vision and decisions remain with the designer. 🎯

Website design for Atelier Monolit, an architecture visualization studio.
In this design, the typography, the spacing, and the images are the main protagonists. In times of AI and speed, I believe it’s very important to take the time to think and create what we truly want, and not just what’s trending. In my case, I wanted a minimalist and editorial layout, and that’s not something easy to achieve with just a couple of prompts.
The pale blue canvas, tiny nav and generous empty space let the concrete render carry the page. Very calm, very architectural, and the small body copy sits tidy beside it.
Same brief. Same skincare brand concept. Two different AI tools.
Design 1 goes bold and playful, with a handwritten look and one hero bottle.
Design 2 goes soft and elegant, with a script headline, a full product line and clear benefits.

Love this comparison! The soft & elegant version feels so on-brand for skincare - that glowy, self-care aesthetic really sells the dream. Great prompt execution with Google Flow!
A couple months ago I shared some thoughts on hand drawn logos, with a few images from a project I worked on. It wasn’t a finished case study and I didn’t even consider it among my strongest work.
It now has more than 50k views, 84 goats and 300 likes.
I’m very intentional about what I share and when, so this one caught me off guard. But it reminded me that we never really know how our work is going to land for someone else. As long as it’s thoughtful, sharing it is better than nothing. Keep going, keep perfecting your craft and keep showing your point of view.
And thank you to everyone who interacts and appreciates what I share. It never goes unnoticed. And of course to Contra for building a space where this kind of work finds its people.
I do wonder though, did this get traction because it was hand drawn in an era where everything is AI generated? Curious what you think.
lovelyy absolutely lovee it
