Just shipped a bilingual site for a beauty clinic in Berlin.
Next.js, DE/EN, mobile-first — because in this niche almost all the traffic comes from Instagram, so people land on their phone or they leave.
Two things that mattered more than the design:
The German legal side. Impressum, Datenschutzerklärung, Widerrufsbelehrung — not optional here, and easy to get wrong if you've never built for the German market.
Loading speed on mobile. A clinic site is mostly photos, so image optimisation is the whole battle. Anything above two seconds and you lose people who came from a story.
