A 4-page magazine spread I created for Function of Vex, made for their nomination in The Tease’s Rule Breaker Awards.
Designed in Figma, I wanted the spread to capture their world in all its artistic, edgy, rebellious, and unapologetic glory.
I usually handle their email design, but when the founders came to me with the news and trusted me with full creative freedom, I couldn’t say no! I hadn’t done any print/editorial work since my college newspaper days almost a decade ago, so it felt a little daunting at first... but when you have clients who really trust you + your vision, it makes a huge difference. (Am I right or what!?)
They’re now finalists, and I can't wait to see them continue to kick a** and cause creative chaos in the nail industry.
