Turns out the component I kept avoiding was 3–4 prompts and about 70 credits away in @Framer Agent. I wanted visitors to see what time it is on my side of the world when they land on my portfolio. A small detail that makes the site feel a bit present. Here's the thing though, a live clock only really works when it's coded. And that's where I get stuck, since I can't write code at that level yet. So I went looking through prebuilt components first... but nothing matched the exact style I wanted. Then I gave Framer Agent a try. 3–4 prompts later, it was just the way I pictured it. And the part that got me, it took way fewer credits than a build like this used to. I've been exploring a lot since Framer Agent launched in June, and it's gotten faster and more cost accessible now. Fewer steps, and fewer tokens. A component I kept avoiding turned out to be about 70 credits away the whole time. 😄 Anyway, I've dropped the component below if you want to copy it and try it yourself.
