Inspired by winterly, mystical deserts of the Southwest US. I wrote the lyrics in one sitting, infused nature-inspired sounds and harmonies reminiscent of ecclesiastical choirs, and called for a hauntingly emotive voice. The lyrics speak about life that persists by the force of a divine nature, even in frigid environments. Even when ground freezes, it is not rendered fallow.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts, Nirmal. I think what mattered to me more were both the vocal tone and environmental textures. I wanted to create an earthy and emotional atmosphere with both those elements.
