What I built:
Malli Gowder, an oral historian in the Nilgiri hills, and her pilot "The Seed." Sorting her late grandmother's house, she finds an unlabeled tin of seeds, the one object with no story attached, and holding it pulls her into a memory of the one thing her grandmother never explained either: a bare patch she kept planting year after year, for no given reason. Malli comes back and plants a seed herself, understanding it without ever getting the explanation.
Why:
I wanted a story anyone could feel, in under two minutes, with no context needed - everyone has lost someone, and everyone has found something that person left unexplained.
