🚗 What if a local business website could do more than just book appointments?
As part of the Base44 Give It a Glow Challenge, I chose to build a concept inspired by ZZ Mobile Detailing in Colorado Springs—a local business I’ve personally used and had a great experience with.
Their current website does a solid job of showcasing their services and making it easy to get in touch. Instead of redesigning what already works, I wanted to explore what the next evolution of the customer experience could look like.
So I built a concept that expands beyond a traditional website into a complete customer and business platform.
✨ Here’s what I added:
🤖 AI Detail Advisor that recommends the right detailing package based on the customer’s vehicle and needs.
📅 Enhanced booking experience with vehicle profiles, photo uploads for quote requests, and a streamlined mobile-first scheduling flow.
👤 Customer Portal where customers can view appointments, service history, saved vehicles, and quickly book their next detail.
📊 Business Dashboard that gives the owner a centralized place to manage leads, appointments, customers, and key business insights.
⚡ Automations including booking confirmations, appointment reminders, follow-ups, review requests, and maintenance reminders to help reduce repetitive administrative work.
The goal wasn’t to replace an existing website—it was to demonstrate how AI and automation can extend a great local business’s digital experience and create additional value for both customers and business owners.
This is an independent concept created for the Base44 Give It a Glow Challenge and is not an official product currently used by ZZ Mobile Detailing. I chose them because I’ve had a positive experience with their service and thought they would be a great business to showcase.

🚗 I gave a local Colorado Springs business a digital glow-up.
When I found ZZ Mobile Detailing, I saw a business with an outstanding reputation—4.9⭐ with hundreds of happy customers—but like many small businesses, much of the customer journey still depended on calls, texts, and manual scheduling.
I wanted to build something that would actually help them save time and create a better experience for their customers.
So I built a complete mobile-first business platform in Base44.
Before
Customers contacted the business through calls or messages.
Scheduling and lead management were handled manually.
No centralized customer portal.
No automated follow-ups or review requests.
No AI to answer common questions after hours.
After
The new platform includes:
✅ Premium responsive website
✅ AI Detail Advisor that recommends the right detailing package
✅ Online booking with vehicle profiles
✅ Customer portal with appointment history
✅ Owner dashboard for managing leads, customers, and bookings
✅ Automated booking confirmations
✅ Appointment reminders
✅ Follow-up messages after each service
✅ Automated Google review requests
✅ Rebooking reminders to encourage repeat business
Instead of simply building a website, the goal was to create a tool that helps the business operate more efficiently while delivering a better customer experience.
One of my favorite features is the AI Detail Advisor, which guides customers to the right package based on their vehicle, goals, and detailing needs before they even book.
Building this project reinforced something I love about AI-powered development: when combined with thoughtful product design, you can create software that genuinely helps local businesses grow.

Junk Removal Photo Quote App
I built a live Base44 website/app for a local junk removal business that needed a cleaner, faster way to handle pickup requests.
Before, customers had to call or text with scattered details: what needed to be removed, where it was, whether there were stairs, and whether they could send photos. That created a lot of manual back-and-forth for the owner.
After that, customers can now submit a photo-based pickup request in about 60 seconds. The app collects contact details, pickup address, junk type, access notes, urgency, preferred dates, and photos. The owner gets a structured lead instead of messy messages.
Automation included:
AI reviews the pickup request and the uploaded photos
Estimates load size and quote range
Flag stairs, heavy items, unclear photos, or possible prohibited items
Sends the owner a clean job summary
Sends the customer a confirmation email
Supports quote follow-ups, pickup reminders, and review requests
The goal was to create real business value: fewer missed leads, faster quoting, less admin work, and a more professional customer experience.
