I’ve been learning Webflow for a little over 3 months now, and I’m officially starting to build out my Webflow portfolio.
Feels good to see my designs come to life.😁
This is my first launch — Noura, a mental wellness website. I’m naturally drawn to mental health and calm, human-centered design, so it felt right to start here.
This project also reflects how I think through UX, structure, and clarity, not just visuals.
Moving forward, I’ll be exploring more industries beyond healthcare and sharing more builds along the way.

After a relatively slow week, I decided to make some big updates to my portfolio.
I wanted to strengthen my positioning and case studies to better showcase my work and the results of it, not just "I make websites" and "Here's my work."
Instead of talking about why a website is beneficial, I wanted to just let the work do the talking. Focusing on restraint instead of trying to overly sell on the benefits.

In this post, I wanted to talk about the homepage of my portfolio website, but I decided to touch on another topic instead.
Most of the projects I’ve worked on were created in close collaboration with Nicolas Jey, and each project with him has always been a challenge of varying complexity.
But my own website, which I both designed and developed, is simultaneously satisfying and frustrating. My perspective as a developer simply didn’t allow me to go beyond certain boundaries, resulting in a site that I like both visually and technically, yet I’m still not fully satisfied.
Im running a quick A/B vote on the hero design. V1 uses an illustrated scene to feel friendly and product-led, while V2 uses a real ocean photo for a more premium, realistic vibe. Which one feels clearer, more trustworthy, and makes you more likely to hit “Join Waitlist”?

Even though I really like illustrative web/UI designs, the real ocean photo makes it more relatable and visually adds a nice depth to design 👍
