He replied that he received another proposal for $750–$850 in 4–5 days, but said he preferred me since I know his system. Later, he sent an AI-generated API and asked if it could be integrated. I explained it wasn’t usable and reiterated my original estimate. He then chose the cheaper proposal. Do you think he’s bluffing, found unrealistic low-cost work, or trying to push me to lower my price?
