This weekend, World Pride is coming to Amsterdam, and I couldn’t be more excited! Two weeks of parades, concerts and a whole lot of love for the LGBTQIA+ community. ❤️🌈 It’s always been a dream of mine to work on a Pride identity, so here are some (un)official stickers to put that wish out into the universe and hopefully make it a reality. Sending all my love to the community and to the allies who stand with us to fight for a safer, kinder and fairer future for all. 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

I procrastinated for almost a year before I started writing.

I kept telling myself I was busy, that other things were more important, and that I'd start when the timing was right. But if I'm honest, none of those were the real reason.

I was afraid.

What if people didn't like what I wrote? What if it proved I wasn't a good writer? What if I failed before I had even begun?

No one ever called me a failure. The only person doing that was me. The stories I made up in my head were the biggest obstacle standing between me and the thing I wanted to do.

So, I started writing. Not because I had an audience or because I suddenly felt confident. I started because I wanted to show up for myself.

Today, I'm proud that I finally began something I had been postponing for so long.

And if I'm being honest, there's still one more dream I've left hanging. I started it with so much excitement, then life and fear got in the way. But I know I'll come back to it too. One step at a time.

If you're waiting for the perfect moment to start something, let this be your reminder: your biggest critic is often the voice in your own head. Don't let self-doubt convince you that you're not good enough before you've even given yourself a chance.
