“Can I book an appointment?”
is a harder question when the patient doesn’t know which doctor to ask for.
For the @Lovable challenge, we built Buckingham Medical: a fictional multidisciplinary practice in London, with six specialities under one roof.
The problem we set out to solve: help patients find the right doctor and confirm a time, while sparing the reception team the work of sorting every inquiry and routing it to the right specialist.
Patients show where they feel discomfort and answer a few plain-language questions. The site suggests a relevant speciality, then lets them choose a doctor and available time, or take the earliest suitable appointment. They can also opt in to hear about an earlier opening if someone cancels.
The guidance isn’t a diagnosis. It helps patients arrive at a more appropriate starting point, while doctors receive appointments matched to their speciality. Confirmations and reminders take more routine work off the team’s hands.
