AI Clone Short-Form Workflow (2025)
In summer 2025, I built an AI clone of myself (HeyGen + ElevenLabs) to test whether I could ship short-form consistently without filming, using a phone-first workflow.
Target: idea → script → metadata → “me on camera” Short in under 1 hour
Use case: fast turnaround for short-form updates across Shorts / Reels / TikTok / FB
What worked:
A strong AI template-based workflow made the output surprisingly usable and consistent.
What didn’t (yet):
The last 10% of realism: eye focus, lip sync, micro-movements, and delivery timing.
In 2026, that “human factor” is the bit I’m watching most, especially as image models keep getting more realistic (e.g., Gemini’s Nano Banana Pro).
