🚀 Just Launched: Wencis v0.1.0 is officially live on PyPI!
Over the past week, I've been building and refining Wencis — an open-source, local-first async reasoning engine designed to solve one of the biggest bottlenecks in AI agent development: debugging reasoning loops and optimizing execution paths.
Here is what Wencis brings to agentic workflows:
Causal Tracing: An database-driven flight recorder that maps agent decisions, hypotheses, and failures, using recursive cycle-guarded SQLite CTEs to traceback failures.
Response Critic: An async evaluation filter that intercepts drafts, scoring them on accuracy, depth, and honesty to trigger automatic self-corrections.
Telemetry Drift: Local OLS regression analysis to track confidence trends and propose system adjustments over time.

Wencis is zero-dependency, PEP 561 type-compliant, and built to scale inside async loops.
