🧠 Finding My Idea for the #configmakeathon
Joining the Config Makeathon has been exciting—and unexpectedly difficult.
The funny thing is, I'm usually an "idea girl." I get a new project idea every bathroom break. But this time, the challenge wasn't finding an idea. It was figuring out which idea was worth building.
After days of thinking, I stopped asking:
"What problem should I solve?"
and started asking:
"If software is no longer just a functional tool, but a limitless canvas for human expression, what is the one feeling I am uniquely equipped to digitize?"
That question changed everything.
It made me realize that I'm naturally drawn to projects centered around human experiences—creativity, storytelling, culture, performance, and play.
I'm fascinated by how technology can create moments of wonder, connection, and self-expression.
That question is leading me to build Digital Kathputli—a project inspired by traditional Rajasthani puppetry and the idea that anyone should be able to become a storyteller using nothing but their own hands.
The build starts now.
Over the next few days, I'll be sharing experiments, lessons, failures, and behind-the-scenes moments from creating it with #Figma Make. 🎭✨
