How I built the booking system of Leo, a struggling solo detailer from Austin TX, from scratch. (LITERALLY) HAHAHA😂
I choose him as my fictional client because its a service where you hold brush all the time and drive all the time.
So the main issue is how can he manage his booking in business via a customize dashboard dedicated for an easy access in desktop (if he is at home browsing all transactions) or phone (where he can easily access everything via chat, dashboard or voice).
I choose to highlight the chat assistance as this will maximize fast support and response on the go. Where AI can be utilize as an online assistant that he can rely response for all the transactions he need to execute.
The fun part was the customer booking. I choose to make it just a 1 Hero section landing page with a chat support booking.
You will observe how the customer can book via chat or interact on the illustrations on the pages.
The concept was I don't need a long scrollable page because it will distract the customer for all the informations they need to browse.
I come up with an idea, why not make it a journey. Only show info based on where they are on the chat booking.
I prompted to make the 1/4 of the page dedicated to chat then 3/4 dedicated to interactive/dynamic content.
And now when a customer book, they only see information on the page related to their current booking steps.
If they are in Step 3 Services then all info like list of services with illustrations, FAQ, Did you know? and Out of scope (so they will know what to expect).
Happy to come up the idea where customer can easily track their booking via code or phone. And a chat support that they're to help them even if Leo is busy doing detailing.
