• Implemented user authentication, protected routes, profile management, movie browsing, trailers, and responsive UI. • Integrated Gemini AI with TMDB to provide AI-powered movie recommendations and multilingual movie search. • Used Redux, custom hooks, reusable components, and memoization for scalable state management and improved performance.

Netflix clones are a great portfolio project specifically because Firebase Auth plus protected routes plus a movie API touches almost every fundamental a React dev needs to show off. Redux for the watchlist/profile state is a nice addition too, most clones skip that part.
