I recently redesigned the homepage for The People's Herbalist, a wellness e-commerce brand. No data tricks. Just sharp CRO thinking applied to every element. Here's the breakdown.

❌ Hero headline: "Sip With Purpose This Season" — seasonal, vague, zero pain point addressed
❌ CTAs like "Explore Herbal Drinks" buried and competing with each other
❌ Zero trust signals above the fold — no reviews, no guarantees visible
❌ Product grid cluttered — no hierarchy, no clear browsing path
❌ Too many sections fighting for attention with no logical flow
━━━ AFTER — rebuilt around conversion ━━━
✅ New hero: "Stop Guessing. Find The Herbs Your Body Needs." — pain-aware, emotion-led
✅ Dual CTA: Shop Now + Take the Quiz — visitors self-select their intent

For me, it turned into a very simple rule
Every time I create or share something, I ask myself:
does this actually feel like me?
Not "is it good", not "will it perform", not "does it fit the algorithm"
Just that.
If the answer is no, I either change it or don't post it at all
It removes a lot of noise
Decisions get simpler
I don't have to guess what works
I just follow what feels true
