​Description

​Transforming raw footage into high-retention, viral short-form content. This project demonstrates my visual editing process for optimizing a 9:16 vertical Reel. My goal was to turn a static speaking clip into a dynamic narrative.

​Key optimizations demonstrated:

​Hook Optimization: Implementing kinetic "Big Text" typography and an immediate zoom within the first 2 seconds to maximize viewer retention.

​Strategic Sound Design: Adding background tracks, dramatic risers, and sound effects (SFX) like 'whooshes' and 'pops' to emphasize key points and transitions.

​Dynamic Visual Flow: Executing strategic jumps, zooms, and B-roll overlays to keep the visual narrative moving.

​High-Contrast Color Grading: Applying a premium color grade for a polished, modern, and high-quality aesthetic.
