One thing I've learned over the years .. A project doesn't usually go off track because people aren't good at what they do - it happens because everyone walked away from the same meeting with a different understanding! 😅

I've realised that the best project management isn't about fancy tools or endless task lists, it's about asking the right questions, writing things down, and making sure everyone knows what's happening next.

One tiny habit that's saved me countless follow-ups?

Before ending any meeting, I make sure I know:

✔️ What's the next step? ✔️ Who's responsible? ✔️ When are we checking in again?

It sounds simple ... because it is ! But it makes a huge difference compared to any productivity app ever.

That's probably my favourite part of operations - making work feel a little less chaotic and a lot more manageable🤍

Let me tell you about the feature I'm most proud of. And how it came from a very personal frustration. I kept forgetting to log my meals. Not because I was lazy — but because life happens. You eat at 7pm, you log it at midnight. By then, the app would stamp it as "today" even though tomorrow had technically started. So I built backdated logging. Every meal and activity entry now has a "Logging for?" selector at the top: — Today — Yesterday — 2 days ago — Or a calendar picker for anything older But here's the detail I obsessed over: if you log for a past date, a quiet message appears beneath the selector. "Logging for a past date may affect your streak calculations." Honest. Respectful. No punishment — just transparency. That feature took me an afternoon. With a traditional team it might've taken a week of back and forth on edge cases, stakeholder reviews, dev tickets. I decided it was needed. I described it. I built it. This is what AI-assisted building gives you — the ability to act on good instincts immediately. Product people: what features have you wanted to build but kept getting deprioritised? 'm a designer. I cannot write production code from scratch. And yet — I've spent the last week building a full fitness & nutrition tracking app. Alone. No engineering team. No co-founder. No agency. Just me, Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT, Codex — and an idea I was tired of waiting to exist. I haven't shipped yet. I'm still deep in it. But what's already been built in 7 days has genuinely surprised me. Subscription logic. AI food scanning. A nutrition AI. Body scan comparisons. Streak tracking. Backdated meal and activity logging. Unit preferences. All of it. Not a Figma prototype. Not a concept deck. Working features, on a real app. The barrier I thought existed between designer and founder — it's not what I thought it was. I'm sharing this week in public.
