Concept: Pulse is a real-time activity discovery app that connects people through shared spontaneous experiences. Users open the app, see what's happening in their area today, and join instantly no planning required. It bridges the gap between wanting to be social and actually making it happen.
The problem: Loneliness is at an all-time high yet most people live surrounded by others who want the same things they do. The barrier isn't desire it's discovery. There's no simple way to find out that someone three streets away is organizing a football game this evening or a study session tomorrow morning. Pulse solves that.
Core Features:
- Browse a live activity feed showing events happening today and this week
- Create activities in seconds with title, category, location, time and participant limit
- Join or leave activities instantly with RSVP tracking
- Group chat for each activity so attendees can coordinate before meeting
- User profiles with activity history and hosted events
- Notifications and reminders before activities begin
- Filter by category, time and popularity to find the right activity
Seasonal angle: Longer days, warmer weather, people actually want to go outside. Pulse is built exactly for that energy outdoor walks, park sessions, spontaneous hangouts. The season is the product.
Why Pulse matters: Most social apps keep people on their phones. Pulse gets them off it. Every interaction on Pulse ends with people actually meeting in real life and that's rare. In a world where loneliness is growing and communities are shrinking, Pulse gives people a simple reason to show up for each other.
Monetization:Pulse generates revenue through Bubble's native in-app purchase system. Hosts can pay to boost their activity to the top of the discovery feed, unlock verified creator badges, create paid private circles, and sell ticket-style access to exclusive events. As the community grows, so does the incentive to promote making monetization a natural extension of engagement, not a barrier to it.
