Ah.. figured it out. Those who are facing the same issue. Please check the steps below
1. Login to Renoise
2. Click on profile (Top right corner)
3. Click on Redeem Code
4. Copy coupon code from email (Welcome to the Renoise Challenge - your discount is inside)
5. Hit on Button saying Redeem and you're done.
i did a little test with Renoise, had to take my time writing the prompt for this video.
