Client: Roderick George (Choreographer)
Roderick George came to me with an organization already named and a mission already alive. kNonameartist is a collective built around a simple belief: that artists should be able to create without boundaries. He knew what it was. The work was making sure the world could feel it too.
We started by going deep into what kNonameartist is at its core. The feeling underneath it: unity, shared movement, a platform for creative expression that keeps evolving. Once that was clear, everything creative had somewhere to go.
I wrote all of the copy across the site. The mission, the about, the framing around collective identity. That language was the foundation the design was built on, not the other way around.
From there I coordinated the photography and videography to bring the work to life visually. I wanted every featured works page to feel dynamic, like you were encountering the work itself rather than just reading about it. Each piece is presented in a way that lets you sense the people behind it.
The site also includes a custom donations page, because kNonameartist is a creative arts organization and that infrastructure is part of how it sustains itself. Designed and developed in Wix Studio, every page built and executed by me.
Roderick's work has been recognized with the 2024 Jacob's Pillow Men Dancers Award and the 2024 Princess Grace Award for Choreography. It was meaningful work to be part of.
