Sauce Lento · website for a riverside inn in the hills
The challenge: Design the website for a small seven-room inn, for people who want to disconnect for a few days. I wanted a single screen to explain what the place is, how to get there and what it costs, and I wanted booking to feel as simple as sending a message.
What I designed: The identity (name, logo and color palette), the full one-page website and its mobile version, with a fixed bar to go straight to booking. I built a photo walkthrough for the rooms, a Saturday told in four moments instead of the usual list of amenities, a FAQ about how to get there, and a short inquiry form with dates, room and a note.
Role: Brand design, web design and front-end development.
Tools: HTML, CSS and JavaScript, Albert Sans, AI image generation, Playwright for desktop and mobile testing.
Deliverables:
- Brand name and concept - Logo in SVG and favicon - Color palette and typography - Responsive one-page website - Art direction and a set of 19 photos - Website copy - Booking inquiry form
