Do you design the app first, or build it first?
I design first. Every time.
For MyRide Lahore, a ride-hailing app for Bike, Car and Auto Rickshaw requests across Lahore, I settled the design first, then built it in Flutter with Firebase — live GPS tracking, driver profiles, trip history and earnings, and Cash, EasyPaisa and JazzCash payments. It took one month to build, and it has been live on Google Play since July 2026.
Designing first meant the screens, the booking flow and the payment options were settled before the build started — fewer rebuilds, fewer surprises.

Exporting straight to a Kajabi theme after refining through conversation is a really practical loop, Kajabi layouts can be fiddly to build by hand. Nice addition to Pro Studio.
Dark mode for evenings, but light feels easier for daily use. Both look clean though!

For Target Finance, I designed a mobile app that helps retail employees create loan and installment applications and track responses from multiple banks in one place.
The challenge: bring detailed forms, five financial products and multiple bank statuses into an interface that’s easy to navigate.
✨ My approach across 33 screens:
- Guide users step by step: a 6-step application flow with a clear progress indicator.
- Make the next action obvious: distinct entry points for each financial product.
- Make statuses easy to scan: bank responses in one view with clear status indicators.
- Help users find applications: search and filters by type and status.
- Keep the experience consistent: one visual system across application, profile, bonus and support screens.
