Lately I’ve been building a coastal beach house for an escape game we’re developing at Starr Studios.
That means making all the things that help it feel like a home—kitchen cabinets, furniture, lamps, framed artwork, and the smaller details you might not notice individually but would miss if they weren’t there.
The bedrooms are the latest addition. It’s been fun seeing the individual pieces come together in Godot, especially once the lighting starts giving each room its own personality.
Along the way, we’re also turning the work into reusable asset collections for other creators. One project is gradually becoming both a playable world and a growing library of 3D assets.
Still plenty to build—and I’ll keep the puzzles to myself. 🙂
Exploring alternative concepts for a single product over the weekend.
I started with a simple product shot on a plain background and used Krea 3 to reimagine it in three different settings: playful floating spheres, sculptural glass structures, and a miniature garden.
Verda makes solar panels feel alive. It starts with a floating rock and a panel drifting through space, then lands you in a quiet 3D garden where the Verda 580 rises from the middle with glass cards showing its power and efficiency. Technology and nature in one scroll, and the lighting and soft glitch effects make it feel calm.
Big shout-out to Viktor Oddy for building this. The mood and the way the scene moves are beautiful.
