This video was posted to my writer's Instagram account to celebrate Halloween. To appeal to the target audience of this account, readers and writers, I incorporated quotes from horror books and intense poems. This included "It" by Stephen King, "The Tell-Tale Heart" by Edgar Allan Poe, and "The Shining" by Stephen King. The black backdrop plays to the holiday. The font types were chosen with more of a spooky theme as well. The graphics were chosen to relate to the holiday and the quotes as well. The jack-o-lantern face relates to pumpkins and Halloween, the heart mirrors Poe's famous poem, and the red balloon is an iconic image related with "It". The audio choice also is not only a spooky song to go along with the haunting theme, it also plays with the quotes on the page since it is the "It" film intro.
