Two things happened this week that I can't stop thinking about together.

One: Devon built a playable Snake game in Figma and 773K people saw it. Polina dropped a sportswear identity that hit 843K views. Mason crossed $250K on Contra.

Real work. Real numbers. Genuinely incredible.

Two: Claude just dropped Fable 5 — their most capable model yet. Kristine's post about it already has 233 likes and 108 comments. The AI tools we're all using just got meaningfully smarter. Overnight.

Here's what I keep sitting with:

Every time a new model drops, the bar for "what AI can find and recommend" shifts. Fable 5 isn't just better at writing code or designing layouts — it's better at understanding context, reading pages, and deciding who to surface when someone asks for a recommendation.

Which means: if your portfolio, bio, or landing page wasn't clear enough for the last model to cite you — it's now competing against a smarter filter.

I'm not writing this to scare anyone. The work in this feed this week is genuinely world-class.

I'm assuming today Figma will be announcing a lot more coding /vibe coding features to compete. I'm for it. I pay for Figma and would love to have their AI be just as good as Cursor so I don't have to pay for both.

I've been a little skeptical of the ai builders add-ons. because a lot of brands show you one thing in the promo, and then when you try it out yourself, it's pretty useless.

But Framer 3.0 is the first one that actually, surprised me for the better, and I didn't come out just okay with it.

I was pretty blown away by the results, since I barely needed to change anything about them.across three different projects this week, I used it to rename layers redefine assets, help me optimize the sites, fill out placeholders, help me with configuring assets, components, and a CMS library.

And the best part was that after I went to check all the changes, it was close to perfect.

I'm so surprised, and I really wish more companies did the same thing and same execution.
