how often do we actually look outside of our design bubble for inspiration?
it’s so easy to reach for the obvious references. we’re all guilty of typing ‘landing page’ into Pinterest when we’re designing a landing page, but i always find that the best sources of inspiration come from elsewhere. lately i’ve been feeling very inspired by spring and all the lovely things that come with it!
what’s inspiring you at the moment? 🌸

Totally agree the best inspiration often comes from outside our usual design bubble. Right now, I’m finding it in nature and everyday motion around me.
Completely agree. Some of the best design inspiration comes from outside design itself — nature, architecture, photography, even packaging. It often leads to more original ideas than just browsing landing page galleries.
Spring for sure is best season of all! best for cycling and gardening! 😀

Maybe it's the seasonal depression finally leaving my body. Maybe it's the fact that I've seen more sun in the past four days than I have in weeks🥲. Or maybe it's just that spring always makes me feel like I'm stepping into a new version of myself, blooming alongside nature🌱
That shift has been showing up in my work too. I've been feeling so much more inspired lately, which has helped tremendously with making progress on my current client work.
I made this collage as a way to capture where my head is right now. What I'm feeling and what I'm looking forward to!

It’s only the fourth day of spring and coincidentally the fourth day of sun where I am. But the shift is sooo tangible!
Even as we sit in front of screens and work in artificial light in our small concrete boxes, our bodies and creative energy respond to nature more than we admit
With the return of sunlight and warmth, there’s more energy and more desire to create. It feels like waking up together with nature
So here’s a gentle reminder:
✦ step outside in the first half of the day and let the sun touch your face
✦ listen to the birds and wind instead of headphones
✦ open your windows and let spring into the room
✦ pause in the evening and watch the sunset
Sometimes that’s all it takes to recharge your creative battery🔋✨
I definitely feel this. Even working mostly behind screens, a few minutes of real sunlight or stepping outside can completely reset focus and creativity. It’s interesting how much our energy shifts with the seasons.
