I Built a Website for a Dignity-Focused Nigerian NGO in 10 Days and Here's What Changed. Few weeks ago, The Warmth Initiative reached out to me.
They run 6 programmes across 3 states in Nigeria — feeding drives, shelter support, back-to-school projects, dignity kit e.t.c. Over 2,000 lives are already impacted.
But they had no website.
- No page where a donor could verify their work. - No place where a funder could read their story. - No platform to grow the movement they were already building.
They came to me with a brief and a deadline... 10 days.
After our discussion, here's what I built for the organization: → A fully functional 7-page website with a mission-led homepage built on Wordpress → Live impact counters (lives reached, states, volunteers, active projects) → Flutterwave donation integration for seamless online giving → Get Involved page with volunteer sign-up and partnership inquiry forms → News & Events section for ongoing campaign updates → Fully mobile-optimized across all devices → SEO setup so people, donors and partners can find them on Google
At the end of the project, The Warmth Initiative (TWI) now has a digital home that matches the seriousness of their work and the credibility to approach institutional funders who need to trust you before they give.
This is WHY I DO WHAT I DO.
