Getting a dental appointment shouldn’t mean calling a clinic, waiting for a response, and going back and forth just to find a time that works.
You know the moment: you need to book an appointment, but the clinic is busy, the phone isn’t being answered, and you’re left wondering when you’ll actually get a confirmation. On the other side, the dentist is trying to treat patients while juggling calls, messages, confirmations, cancellations, and follow-ups.
So I built ReDent, a modern appointment experience for independent dental practices in New York.
The problem I wanted to solve: turn a simple “Can I book an appointment?” into “You’re booked.” with as little effort from the dentist as possible.
With ReDent, patients can choose a service, view real-time availability, select a convenient time, and confirm their appointment without needing to call the clinic. Once booked, the dentist gets notified automatically and the appointment appears directly in the dashboard.
On the practice side, the dentist has one place to manage appointments, availability, cancellations, and patient communication. Automated workflows can handle confirmation, reminders, cancellation updates, and feedback emails—so the dentist doesn’t have to manually follow up with every patient.
There’s also a voice receptionist that gives patients another way to get help when they’d rather talk than type.
The goal was simple: make booking effortless for patients and eliminate the busywork for dentists.
