Sometimes a project needs more than a theme. For this Shopify project, I worked on both the design and development of the website:
The goal wasn’t simply to make the store look good.
The design needed to feel premium, while the development needed to give the brand more flexibility than a standard theme could offer.
So I worked across both sides:
Design → Development → Customization → QA
I first worked on the overall website design and user experience, then translated it into Shopify.
A big part of the build involved custom Shopify Liquid development.
Instead of relying only on existing theme sections, I created and customized multiple sections using Liquid so the client had more control over the layout and content.
The focus was on:
→ Clean and premium UI → Responsive experience across devices → Custom Liquid sections → Flexible content structure → Smooth product experience → Consistent visual hierarchy → Testing and refinement before launch
This is one of the things I enjoy most about web projects.
Design and development shouldn’t feel like two separate processes.
The design should guide the development, and the development should make the design work better in the real world.
That’s where a website starts feeling truly custom.
