Remote Work Anywhere: where can your team actually work from?
I wanted one place to answer a simple question: where can I pitch up with my laptop and still work properly with colleagues spread around the world?
City guides tell you what a place is like. Timezone tools tell you when two clocks overlap. Nothing joined them up, so I built Remote Work Anywhere on @Base44.
Start with one question: where are you working today, or where are you going? Type a place or tap "use my location" and you get the best work spots nearby. Our sourced list comes first, then real cafés, libraries and coworking spaces from OpenStreetMap, labelled as not yet checked by us.
Working as a team? Add everyone's cities and working hours. The planner ranks cities by the hours your whole team is online together, the weather that month and places to work, and shows every step it took. The ranking is plain, tested code. AI only writes the explanation, and a guard throws it out if it invents a figure.
Then it keeps working on its own: • Trip Watch: every morning at 06:00 UTC it re-checks the live forecast for your trip and emails you only if the answer changes • Monday brief: your team's shared hours for the week ahead. This week it leads with the clock change: UK clocks go back on 25 October, New York's not until 1 November • One tap adds your shared hours to everyone's calendar, or posts the plan to your team's Teams or Discord • The Engine room logs every automation run in public, and you can try Trip Watch and the Monday brief on sample data without signing in Or simply need a quick where is best to work with my laptop right now? pick the location find the best spot with key tagged information.
How it was built: Base44 for the pages, data and hosting. Backend functions, schedules and the AI step written in code and synced through GitHub, with 1,000+ automated tests. Every round, independent reviewers tried to break it. One found that anyone could trigger the scheduled emails, and that was locked down before the first real run.
The work-spot data is a clearly labelled launch dataset of sourced venues for now, with real photos where a free one exists. Real check-ins replace it as people file them.
Try it in 2 minutes, no account needed: https://remoteworkanywhere.com/tour
