Bad audio? That’s where they leave.

My quick audio checklist for social videos:

• Clean up the dialogue first • Keep music around -18 dB under speech • Add subtle whooshes for transitions • Use room tone to smooth out cuts • Aim for around -14 LUFS for social

You don’t need complicated sound design.

You just need clear, balanced audio that doesn’t distract from the content.

Good audio makes even simple footage feel more professional.

I’ve been exploring how AI can support character-driven storytelling — not just generate visuals.

For this animated project, I developed a story around three Chinese domestic cats, combining character design, cinematic visual direction, animation, editing, original music, and multilingual subtitles into one creative workflow.

The biggest challenge was consistency: keeping each character recognizable while maintaining the same visual world, personality, and storytelling rhythm across scenes.

AI accelerated parts of the production process, but the storytelling decisions — pacing, humor, shot selection, music, and emotional beats — still needed deliberate creative direction.

I’m continuing to refine this workflow for short films, branded storytelling, and social content.
