Campus Engage is a scalable, full-stack web application designed to streamline event organization and admin oversight within educational institutions. The platform implements distinct access levelsā€”including a high-privilege "Chief" Administrator roleā€”to manage events, track engagement, and secure institutional data.
Key Architectural Highlights:
Hybrid Authentication Pipeline: Engineered a highly secure authentication system combining short-lived JWT Access Tokens via LocalStorage with persistent 7-day Refresh Tokens stored in secure HttpOnly cookies.
Advanced Axios Interceptors: Implemented automated silent token refresh handling, preventing session disruption during active user workflows without degrading security.
Cross-Origin Configuration: Resolved complex preflight routing and CORS policies across distributed environments to ensure seamless communication between the client and API.
