Data Entry & Analysis Training Project — California Cities & Parks The task: Required accurate research, data entry, and analysis of the 10 largest cities in California, capturing geographical size, number of parks, and population figures for 2024.
What I did: Researched and inputted data for 10 California cities across three key metrics — geographical size, number of parks, and population. Organised the data into a clean, structured spreadsheet, cited all sources, and created a bar chart visualising population distribution across all 10 cities for easy comparison.
The outcome: Delivered a complete, well-sourced dataset with visual analysis that makes it easy to identify patterns for example, San Diego has the highest number of parks (400) despite not being the largest city by area or population. Tools used: Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets
