One of the most challenging projects I've worked on recently started with a messy brief and a rough product idea.
No detailed requirements.
No defined user flows.
No clear product roadmap.
Instead of jumping straight into screens, I worked backwards:
• Defined user personas and key stakeholders
• Mapped workflows and user journeys
• Identified core features and priorities
• Planned phased releases to align product vision with business goals
• Built interactive prototypes to validate assumptions early
Only after creating that foundation did I move into crafting the final UI experience.
What started as a loose concept is now evolving into a structured SaaS product with a clear direction, scalable architecture, and polished interface.
Design isn't just making screens look good.
It's turning uncertainty into a product people can actually build, use, and grow.
