Did you know that in the Puinave language (Wãnsüjüt)—spoken in the heart of the Guainía region in Colombia and parts of Venezuela—the word Ikot (or iköt) is deeply rooted in the essence of life and birth?
For the Puinave people, this term isn't just a word; it represents the beginning of a journey and the arrival of new energy into the world. It’s a powerful symbol of heritage and the vital force that keeps a culture alive.
