Here's a fun new project I'm excited to show! I animated this rotoscoping frame by frame in Procreate for No-Comply Skateshop and their 43 Day sale.
Fun fact: a no-comply 180 used to be referred to as a '43' which is why No-Comply Skateshop uses the number in their branding inspired the 43 Day idea on April 3rd!
@Joseph Weiler this is dope, make a tutorial!! I use procreate and after effects but idk if I'd know how to pull this off
@Joseph Weiler Love it! Especially the transitions in/out, very effective. How did you choose which bits to roto or leave? Just colour blocks?
@Olivia LaRocca I hadn't thought about doing that, but it sounds like a fun project!
@Sam Allen It depends on the video and how clear it is. This one was a bit low res so it left a good bit up to the imagination, but if it's really crisp then I'll try and get more details. This one we also wanted to highlight the trick, which was done on flat ground, so we chose to leave background elements out.
