AI can build your website. But what happens when something breaks?
I've been noticing an interesting shift in my work lately.
A few years ago, most website projects started with building the frontend, connecting the backend, and setting up the database.
Now, with AI coding tools and vibe coding, people can build surprisingly impressive websites without writing much code themselves.
And I think that's great.
But recently, I've been getting messages from people who built websites using AI and are now struggling with bugs, errors, or unexpected behavior.
Some have even shared their GitHub repositories with me so I can help when something goes wrong.
I've experienced this myself, too.
Once, I had an issue with a website I had built manually. I was busy, so I turned to AI to save some time.
Two hours later, I was still trying to fix the same issue.
Eventually, I stopped asking AI to change more code and started reading it myself.
The actual problem? A missing database row.
I was trying to save time by letting AI handle everything, but ended up wasting two hours instead. 😅
That experience reminded me why understanding the code still matters.
AI is an incredible tool. But building a reliable website requires more than generating code. You need to understand how the frontend, backend, database, APIs, and deployment environment work together.
And that's where I come in.
I'm a full-stack web developer, and I help businesses and founders turn ideas into functional, reliable websites—from planning and development to deployment and ongoing improvements.
Whether you need:
A business website or landing page
An e-commerce website
A custom web application
Frontend and backend development
API and database integration
Help improving or fixing an existing website
I can help you build the complete solution, not just patch a few lines of code.
Have a website idea or an existing project that needs a developer?
Send me a message on Contra with your project details. Let's discuss what you're trying to build and how I can help.

Fixing the AI slop in Design is a shared problem among website designers. That's why I am currently building a solution to that problem.
By the way, The site was generated by AI.
Building an AI slop fixer on a site generated by AI is a nice touch. Curious whether you're focusing more on layout and spacing or on copy and visuals.
“Just tell AI what you want and it will build it.”
Sounds great.
Until you spend credits asking it to fix the same bug 10 different ways.
Then another feature breaks.
You fix that one.
Something else stops working.
Then you're staring at the same error for hours thinking:
“Why is this still happening?”
That's the part people don't show you about vibe coding.
AI can write code incredibly fast, but fast code doesn't automatically mean good code.
You still need to understand:
→ How the application is structured
→ Where the bug is actually coming from
→ How different features affect each other
→ When an AI-generated solution is making things worse
→ How to debug instead of blindly regenerating code
And sometimes the biggest time killer isn't building a feature.
It's getting stuck on one tiny bug that refuses to die.
That's why I don't see vibe coding as:
“Tell AI what to build.”
I see it as:
Human problem-solving + AI development.
The AI can help you move faster.
But you still need someone who knows where to go when things stop working.
That's where the real skill comes in.
