An automation can run in seconds and still save your team very little time.
Measure the human work left around it—not just the execution timer.
Before a pilot, record how often the task happens and how many hands-on minutes it takes, including corrections. After the pilot, count review time, exceptions, rework and maintenance over the same period. Compare outputs of similar quality.
Illustrative example, not a client result: 40 tasks × 5 manual minutes = 200 minutes. If the automated workflow still needs 40 minutes of review and 20 minutes of fixes, the net saving is 140 minutes—not 200.
That is a time comparison, not a complete ROI calculation. Implementation, subscriptions and API costs still matter. Waiting time and hands-on work should also stay separate.
Agree the success criterion before building: less manual handling, fewer corrections or a shorter response time. Then check whether the pilot actually meets it.
ROVELK develops focused business automations and CRM integrations. Message me on Contra with one repetitive task, its frequency and your current tools. We can discuss a small first scope without sharing customer records. Project discussions: Russian / Ukrainian; scope and price agreed before work.
