Today I want to share the story behind one of the most meaningful (and exhausting) projects I’ve ever worked on.
It starts at 2AM - my newborn son asleep beside me while I’m still coding. The deadline was close. The budget? 1,000€. And I could feel I was missing the first month of his life.
Somewhere between the code and exhaustion, it hit me. I’d said yes to a beautiful project, but at a price that didn’t respect my time or my energy. And that hurt. I didn’t have much experience, my Webflow skills were still developing, and I had no idea how to price a project properly. But I took a leap of faith and said yes.
180 hours later, the site was live (weeks after my son was born) It nearly broke me, but it also built me. Today, the Icaros site sits proudly in my portfolio. Now I know how to value my work and my time.
