A university project I'm still proud of. EYE CONTROL lets a person with quadriplegia turn on the lights and control devices in their room just by looking at them.
A regular camera tracks the eyes with MediaPipe and Python, and an Arduino switches the devices. No expensive eye-tracking hardware.
We took it to competitions inside and outside the university and published a research paper on it. It taught me that the hard part of any product is the person on the other side, not the code.
