I redesigned and rebuilt the website for
Clerkenwell Health, a UK company running clinical trials for depression, PTSD and other mental health and neurological conditions. Home Office licensed, more than 50,000 people in their studies
Their site was a default Squarespace template. Pharma sponsors check it before every partnership call, and it still looked like a small clinic
The hero runs footage the clinic shot itself: the house, the garden and the rooms where the trials happen. Someone thinking about a trial for depression wants to see where they would actually go
Before that I took a wireframe and two visual directions to the team, one with a sky full of clouds and one with a photo of the building. Both pushed further into a new brand than they wanted, so the third one kept what was already theirs
The site talks to two audiences at once. Patients get their own pages and the current trials, sponsors get the sites and capabilities, and How it works is a pinned stepper that changes as you scroll
The migration ran in parallel: 60 blog articles moved over one to one with every URL and redirect, inquiries go through a two-step form that n8n routes to five teams, and the whole project took three months with no downtime
