One of the interesting parts was helping the client understand how ads actually work in the mobile ecosystem, where they fit into the product, and how paywalls can be designed without killing the user experience.

Designing that boundary from the start is the whole game. Bolting client-side encryption onto an app that already assumed a trusted server is a rewrite every time, so treating it as an architecture decision up front is the right call.
Team payroll platform: App design, Illustration, Animation
I designed the user interface for an app that calculates payroll and monitors compliance with regulatory requirements. I kept the layout clean and simple so that users can quickly find the information they need and conveniently manage everything from their phone. I also made the illustrations friendly and used accent colors where appropriate, so that the interface would work in harmony with the playful illustrations.
