Project Title: Reimagining My Portfolio Homepage with Google Stitch https://stitch.withgoogle.com/projects/13677255280441443128

Project Description

For this project, I used Google Stitch to explore the redesign the homepage of my personal portfolio website. My goal was to explore how AI can accelerate the early stages of product and interface design while still supporting creative decision making.

Rather than starting with a blank canvas, I asked Stitch to review my existing website and identify opportunities to improve user experience, visual hierarchy, messaging, and overall engagement. Based on that analysis, Stitch generated multiple homepage concepts that explored different approaches to presenting my work, skills, and personal brand.

Workflow

The project began by importing and analyzing my existing portfolio. Stitch quickly surfaced opportunities to simplify navigation, strengthen the visual hierarchy, and create clearer calls to action.

Using Stitch's streaming generation capabilities, I was able to see concepts develop directly on the canvas in real time. This made it easy to evaluate multiple directions and build on ideas as they emerged.

I then used in place AI editing to refine layouts, adjust content organization, modify components, and improve the overall user flow. Instead of rebuilding screens manually, I iterated through conversation and targeted edits, allowing me to focus more on design decisions and less on production work.

Key Stitch Features Used

• Analysis of an existing website as the starting point • Streaming UI generation directly on the canvas • In place AI edits for rapid iteration • Interactive prototype development • Motion and dynamic interface concepts

Outcome

The final result is a modernized homepage concept that better highlights my portfolio work, clarifies my value as a designer, and creates a more engaging experience for visitors. The project demonstrates how Stitch can function as a collaborative design partner, helping transform an existing product into a refined and interactive experience through rapid iteration.
