I've opened my MacBook for the first time in five days. This was the first time in YEARS since I took a real vacation.
It wasn't just any vacation, though. I signed up for a "cosmic revelation" retreat on a remote beach in Nayarit, Mexico. I shared the experience with 30 strangers, all of whom came to expand their consciousness through breathwork, active meditation, yoga, and plant medicine. 🐸
Going into the unknown is scary. Change is scary, too. As I integrate the retreat, something keeps coming up again and again: living life on my terms is non-negotiable.
So, what does this have to do with freelancing? Community. I have found community in-person in Mexico and during this retreat. Now, I'm excited to lean in to this community of like-minded creatives who are shaking up the world of freelancing. ❤️🔥
