A B2B firm was verifying every counterparty by hand before signing a contract. A manager would open several official government registries one by one, checking tax ID, registration number, name, address, status, and director - then check the bank details separately, by eye. Slow, dependent on one person's attention, and errors slipped through: a dissolved company here, a wrong account number there.

I built an n8n workflow that lives inside their CRM. Now one "Verify" button runs the entire check. It pulls the record, queries the government business registries for legal status and details, validates bank name, routing code and account against the central bank's directory, checks the account number by its checksum, and applies custom rules to phone, email and signatory format. It even detects whether the counterparty is a company or a sole proprietor and checks each accordingly.

The result comes back into the record as one of three clear statuses, with a plain-language report showing exactly which field is wrong and why. A missing or invalid tax ID stops the check early, so nothing runs on bad input.

What changed: several registries collapsed into one button, routine checks no longer need a lawyer, and the CRM sets the verification status automatically. No more contracts signed with dissolved companies or incorrect bank accounts.
