I have always been shy writing a public post whether its here or on my socials, but prior to me joining contra, i had a deep dive into reviews, and the one thing that mainly stood out was how welcoming and helpful the community is.. so this me testing it out! I'm new here, never even freelanced before or did independent work before, I would really love it if some out can give me little tips and tricks on how to grow both as a community member and as a designer :)

🏍️ I Built a Race Bike Rental Website Demo for a Potential Client — What Do You Think?
I recently came across a project on Contra by Ryan Chu, who's launching a track-day motorcycle rental business in Thailand.
Instead of just sending a proposal, I decided to do something different.
I built a website demo specifically for his business. 🚀
I also created a promotional video to showcase the design, animations, and overall experience.
My goal was to create something that feels fast, premium, and exciting — just like riding a superbike on a racetrack. 🏁

I'm hoping Ryan gets a chance to see it, likes the direction, and considers hiring me to develop the complete website.

Less ordinary, more throttle is a tagline that sells the whole vibe before a single click. Building the demo instead of a proposal is the boldest cold outreach move, respect for committing to it.
